The recent Barnard Castle prize show and sale of suckled calves saw the championship taken by a British Blue heifer from N G Beveridge, Tow Law, which later sold for £2500 to Messrs Marsh, Dover, Kent.
The heifer was by leading British Blue sire and 18,000gns Norbreck Genetics investment, Brennand Panther, a bull that is in hot demand by commercial and pedigree breeders alike.
