A Soldier and a Sniper have joined the Norbreck stud and based on the calving surveys they are looking like being easy calving sires with short gestation lengths and supreme calf quality.
Redmires Sniper and Redmires Soldier are both sons of our big hitting British Blue bull Roundhill Ice. Our customers are increasingly asking for well-marked blue roan calves that are born easily, but grow rapidly. Both these bulls tick that box and we are seeing big demand pre-release on both bulls.
These bulls are part of a rapid expansion of the Norbreck Genetics BB team designed for DAIRY FARMERS.Demand both in the UK and Italy has seen record sales volumes and the efficiency of British Blue cattle throughout the supply chain is seeing the ‘tick-up’ of demand. Record calf prices at auctions, particularly in the northern half of the UK, is leading to unprecedented demand. The sire of both these bulls, Roundhill Ice, was the EASIEST calving bull in our stud for over eight years.
